A bug-out (A.K.A Crap hits the fan) bag is suppose to be an emergency bag that lasts you about 3 days. Depending on where you live and where you work, the importance of having one goes up or down.
I practically live in Manhattan. And thank God I wasn’t around on 9/11. But I have thought if something like that was to ever happen again. And if it does I want to be prepared.
I’m not trying to stereotype my beloved city, but Manhattan is a city most terrorists target. And I have some friends living and working in the City, so a little preparation is not going to hurt anybody.
During the week I walk dogs all through out Manhattan. So I’m all over the place. I’ve even planned an escape plan going straight upstate just in case.

Money is the root of all evil. That is what the famous scriptures tell us. But why do they tell us that?
Money helped provide care for my old churches pastor. The pastor’s wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Thank God she is alive and doing well now. She had to go through surgery and a hard recovery.
Her insurance provided the care necessary for her surgery. And what is insurance? That’s right…money a company gives your doctor to help you.
In that case money helped save someone’s life. Money has the power to create, and the power to destroy depending on who has it.

Changing destiny? Most people think that their destinies are out of their control. But what if it is?
What if your fate was planned by someone other than yourself? What if all the decisions you made were an illusion making you think you have free will?
Well…that’s how it is in the movie starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt the Adjustment Bureau. The people in the movie are following a plan created by the chairman.
The chairman has subordinates, called the Adjustment Bureau, who make sure people follow the plan created by the chairman. The adjustment bureau is responsible for harmless random events that change our path.
For example, in the movie David, Matt Damon’s character, was suppose to spill his coffee at a certain time. But one of the bureau’s agents fell asleep and didn’t give the cue for David to spill his coffee.
As a result, David hopped on a bus he was suppose to miss and met a girl he wasn’t suppose to meet. This caused a ripple affect and caused David to slip into the world of the Adjustment Bureau.

Why do children experience cancer when they have yet to live their lives? Why do people have heart attacks when they seem perfectly healthy? Why do thousands of people die of natural disasters? Why do serious accidents occur? Why do people suffer from extreme poverty? Why must hearts break? Why do people end their own life? Why? Why does God let bad things happen, you ask?

God created the earth and everything on it to operate in a state of bliss and delight, as long as the fruit on the tree of good and evil was not eaten. But it was eaten, therefore manifesting not just blessing, but CALAMITY.

Opportunities are already available to us. Ideas aren’t invented they are discovered. You just have to open your mind for them.
For example, when you buy a pair of sneakers or shoes, don’t you suddenly seem to notice that everyone owns the same pair?
Meanwhile these people could have owned these shoes months before you got them. Your mind has to be in tune with a goal in order to spot out those ideas. There are ideas everywhere you just have to fish them out.
Fish Skeleton
There was an archeologist trying to resurface the remains of prehistoric fish. However, he didn’t know the structure and didn’t want to move it to prevent damaging it.
He brainstormed different body structures to figure out which areas to chip through the rubble. But he was unsuccessful.
He could not consciously find out the solution. One night he went to sleep and had a dream about the fish’s body structure. The dream revealed to him the exact composition of the fish.
But unfortunately the archeologist didn’t record the dream and he forgot all about it. During the day he placed a pad and a pen beside his bed. He again had the dream about the fish.

I guarantee whatever it is you want to accomplish someone else has already done it, or has done something similar.
So what does this mean to you?
It means a lot! It means that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You could copy all the steps the successful people took to achieve their same results.
Role Models
If you wanted to learn basketball, who would you like to learn from? I would love to learn from the all-time legend—Michael Jordan.
I would ask him a million questions: What were your biggest challenges? How did you prevail even though people said you could not? Where did you practice basketball?
How long did you practice? Do you also have a role model? These are all questions I love to ask someone who’s achieved greatness in the field I’m interested in.
Obviously, we might not be able to speak to superstar celebrities like Mike, but there are tons of bibliographies about him that tell his story.

That’s right…you can condition yourself for success. You can teach yourself a successful way of thinking.
Whatever negative mind habits you have now, you could wash them away. If you can’t take action, are stuck for ideas, are always thinking you can’t, you could get rid-off those pesky little demons by changing the way you think.
Our minds are our biggest enemies. Often times the difference between you and success, is your way of thinking.
If you think you can’t do something, that’s what it is—thinking. And you could change that thinking into productive thoughts.
You’ll be able to recognize money making opportunities instantly. You’ll achieve success faster than any other person. And all you have to do is change the way you think.

The speed reading tips below helped increase my speed after only the first exercise. The idea of speed reading is attractive because it takes me a long time to read a book.
It takes me about five days to read a 250 page book. And that’s reading 2 hours everyday. But the thought of reading that 3 times or even 6 times faster is exciting.
Even just 2 times faster would let me finish a 250 page book in 2.5 days.
How to Increase Your Reading Speed
The idea of reading a book in half the time led me to purchase Breakthrough Rapid Reading by Peter Kump. Within the first day of reading I was able to increase my reading speed from 139 Words per Minute to 240 WPM’s.

Make yourself indispensable to achieve greatness in your job. But not many people value the jobs they have.
That’s no surprise, since statistics show that the majority of people hate their jobs anyway.
But it’s to your extreme benefit to make yourself indispensable. This can be hard sometimes, because who wants to work their best for a company they hate or a company that does not value their employees?
Ya’ Never Know
I heard an interesting story once. There was this employee working for a 7 eleven store. She valued and loved her job. Kind of ironic, though, considering she was only a cashier. But she treated her job with passion.

The benefits of donating are huge. That’s why celebrities do it all the time.
Celebrities are known to donate millions of dollars to charity. But why do they do this? Is it because they have so much money they don’t know what to do with?
If it weren’t for the rich or the celebrities, charity organizations would not be able to operate. The middle-class and the poor barely have money to take care of themselves. Let alone give some of their income to good causes.
I came up with two reasons why celebrities donate to charities.
